What’s the weather like where you are? Last weekend was blistering hot with temperatures hovering just above 30C followed by two days of grey skies and rain. Not that I am complaining! It was Wonderful to spend some time out in the sunshine. The hubby and I borrowed the convertible and we snuck away for a quick scouting trip to check out our next adventure. Since last summer we have wanted to take the kids tubing down the Pembina River so it was really exciting to go and check it out for ourselves. I can’t wait to take the kids for a 3 hour float.. wow, anyone else just hear the theme song to ‘Gilligan’s Island”? We have a busy weekend ahead of us with a wedding and a last minute assignment to finish before Monday so I think our float will have to wait. Speaking of the wedding, I need to go and get my nails done!
Did you try any of the activities from last week?
What was your family favourite?

Great ideas! Will be sure try all of these with the kids I nanny, this summer.
What really fun ideas! My grandmother used to paint rocks and I have never considered doing it as a fun project but I may need to make that happen pretty soon! Thanks so much for sharing such great ways to keep that boredom monster away 😀
I live in a agricultural town and love farmers markets. Cannot wait for the roasted green chilis to start here soon!
I love this list! The teddy bear picnic sounds so cute! Cant wait for my little ones to get a little older!
A Teddy Bear Picnic sounds really relax and chill … so does going to a Carnival . I’ve always loved carnival Food
Teddy Bear picnic! So fun. We did one of those a few months back.
Wow. I am way behind on all of the stuff I can do with kids. Better get started.

Another awesome list of fun activities. We love going Mini Golf.
What a great list! I have many of these on my list too for the summer. I need to find some good rocks for my kids to paint.
We tried a new recipe the other night! Great ideas throughout your whole series 🙂
Excellent list! The list is made up of so many simple ad memory making activities! Totally reminiscent of my childhood!
I want to paint rocks with my kiddos. I think they’d love that. They love painting and would love to make little characters and keep it!
I have been loving this series. My favorite from this list are “go to a carnival” and “dance in the rain” SO fun!
You’ve got one of our favorites on that list – go mini golfing. Where we live they run specials a few times a summer where you get 99 cent games and we always go when that is going on. It’s such a fun activity for the adults and the kids!
Those are lots of great ideas. We will be at the beach all summer long.
Ahh a flashlight walk sounds so absolutely wonderful! I want to do that!
Such great ideas! I have a few bird feeders pinned that I plan to make with my son. Can’t wait!
