Super easy to create a lovely Pumpkin Spice sugar scrub for the upcoming holidays!
Call me Miss DIY! Something crazy has come over me, I am constantly thinking of great DIY projects that are not only easy to do but can easily be turned into something I can use as a great DIY birthday or Christmas gift.
It is no surprise, I love Fall! You all have read all kinds of posts recently about my love for Fall and this one is no different! I am bringing the scent and flavours of Fall to your hands! Or should I say, Dessert for your Hands? I love going into spas and enjoying the sugar scrubs so I started thinking about how brown sugar can easily be turned into something perfect for fall.
This Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub is a perfect addition to your bathroom sink for any Fall gatherings. Everyone knows it is fall when the Pumpkin Spice comes out so let’s also enjoy it while washing your hands! Leave this in your bathroom and your guests will leave with soft and lovely smelling hands.
What you need to make your own Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub…
2 cups Brown Sugar
1/2 cup White Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 cup Coconut Oil (or Almond Oil)
1. In a medium bowl combine all the dry ingredients – sugars and spices.
2. Slowly pour in the Oil and stir well until blended. If you need more moisture add another Tablespoon of oil as needed.
3. Keep in an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 8 weeks.
With the holidays approaching quickly, I am added this super easy DIY gift idea to my list for teachers and my co workers. Everyone needs a little sugar in their life! Enjoy!!

I just wanted to share a little more about today’s Guest poster:
Hi there! My name is Censie and I am the author of the Denver based Lifestyle blog called Building Our Story. I am a full time working mother of two amazing kiddos and I love it. I honestly do not think I could ever be a stay at home mom. I work for a non-profit in Denver Colorado and I love the work that I do. After years of using the blog as a scrapbook I have turned it into a source of income for our family as well. I am proud to say “I am a blogger”. We are Building Our Story one day at a time.
