Adult Colouring books for Christians

06/13/16 | Faith

Adult colouring books Whether you choose coloured pencils, water colours, crayons or smelly markers, there’s something about colouring. You know it and I know it. A new craze hit the world by force last year — adult colouring books. At first, I thought it was all so silly… but then I bought one and can now fully understand the concept.

Colouring is therapeutic.

Colouring quiets the mind.

Colouring is… awesome. Sorry, it’s true. Don’t knock it until you try it folks.

I bought a book because I wanted to share it with my 9 year old daughter and colouring is something we absolutely love to do together as a team. It’s part of our quality time together.

But trying to find a book that would  help her grow in her walk in Jesus was dang near impossible.

So, I bought this one…

It wasn’t exactly what I had wanted . I want our quiet time to be time spent absorbing the love found in God’s presence so, I went searching and I found a few more online that I wanted to share in case you were interested in getting all up in this adult colouring book trend.

I love adult coloring books because they are such a stress reliever especially after a very busy week! I think it’s nice to have one for Christians as well. This is such a good list and it also doubles as gift ideas!

These would also be great for an activity for our tween/tee bible study group. I will have to look into getting some of these for the girls

I love that it has a Christian theme. My mom loves to color, it’s something all three of us (me and my teen daughter too) can do together. #GirlTime

I love to color. There’s something calming and therapeutic about it! I have a nice collection of coloring books and depending on the mood I’m in, I like to color with either colored pencils or sharpies 🙂
