15 things to do with your kids in the Summer time

We will officially kick off the first day of summer vacation in an just under a week and well, the thought of three small children home all-day-ever-day can be a little overwhelming.   I shudder at the thought of listening to them bicker and fight over who’s turn it is to use the ipad or hearing them moan ” I’m bored.. there’s nothing to do”.

What are we going to do all summer to keep everyone active and happy?

I want my little ones to have memories of the fun, silly, and dare I say crazy activities we did as a family.  We have done summer bucket lists in years past but this summer we are going to do things a little differently.

Wouldn’t it be so much fun to have something new and exciting to look forward to each week?

Join me next Friday for Part 2 of our summer series  “15 things to do with your kids in the summer time.”

Love these ideas! S’mores are definitely on my list, and I can’t wait for July 4th fireworks. We have our pool that we’ve been spending every afternoon we can in.

That’s a nice little list. Another thing to do is to go to a movie matinee. Prices are usually much cheaper and it’s a great way to get out of the heat.

We like going to the library in the summer to read. It’s cool and keeps us out of the hot sun.
